The Spice Tin

The Spice Tin is the DREAM that began with a visit to a spice store in Chicago years ago. At that time both Patty and Jan were teaching (Jan at Bret Harte High School in Angels Camp and Patty at Avery Middle School). As retirement began to become a reality, Patty pursued that dream, researching and learning about owning a business and fine-tuning what the dream would look like. The goal was to create a community of people who share the love food, creating in the kitchen and travel. As Jan likes to say, “The Spice Tin is about food, fun and friends.”
