Description

Jan’s Famous Sidewinder Meatballs are great for any occasion. These hearty meatballs are robust in flavor and are great to have as an appetizer or make into a slider.

These meatballs are super easy to make and will have your guest going back for seconds.

Jan’s Sidewinder Meatballs with a side of homemade coleslaw

Ingredients

Units Scale

1 lb Ground Turkey

1/2 cup panko

1.4 cup finely chopped onion

1 tablespoon Jan’s Sidewinder

2 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon smoked bacon salt 


Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F

In a large mixing bowl, mix all ingredients

Shape mixture into 24 (1-inch) meatballs

Place 1 inch apart on a baking sheet

Bake uncovered for 20 to 25 minutes or until the temperature reaches 160°F and is no longer pink in the center

Notes

Excellent to dip in a BBQ sauce.

  1. We now regularly use this recipe for turkey burgers, and they are the best! We prefer them to hamburgers. They are juicy and flavorful, something I have never said about a turkey burger before. I accidentally ordered the Bourbon Smoked Sea Salt instead of the Smoked Bacon Salt, and if it isn’t as good, I’m blissfully unaware. But I do plan to try the Smoked Bacon Salt. Thanks for the new go-to treat!
