Back in late 1800″s Serbs immigrated to Calaveras County, bringing the tradition of smoking chicken in a 50 gall barrel.  

Simply coat chicken halves in oil, sprinkle generously with Calaveras Barrel Blend and hang in barrel.  Moke 2 1/2 hours.
